BOSTON – Best-selling Brazilian artist Roberto Carlos has unveiled his 2022 tour, which will take him to 12 cities across the United States, including Boston.

“Although my records are the ones that have taken my voice to all corners of the world, my live performances are what make me the happiest in my career,” the Brazilian singer-songwriter said in a prepared statement. “Knowing that I will be close to my beloved audience again excites and fills me with joy. On stage, I feel more alive than anywhere else.

Called the King of Latin Music, Roberto Carlos will perform at Boston University’s Agganis Arena on May 1 at 7 p.m. ET.
