Drake releases ‘Falling Back’ music video

Last night Drake released his new album, Honestly it doesn’t matter. Today, he released a music video for the album track “Falling Back,” which is the project’s first song after the brief intro.

In the video, directed by Director X and featuring a Tristan Thompson cameo, Drake marries 23 wives. The video includes a “Free YSL” message, supporting YSL artists currently being held in prison. The short film lasts almost 10 minutes.

Notably, the new album features only one guest, 21 Wild, on the album “Jimmy Cooks”. Drake enlisted his choice collaborators Noah “40” Shebib, Oliver El-Khatib and engineer Noel Cadastre as executive producers. Additionally, Drizzy has teamed up with South African in-house producer Black Coffee, which doubles as an EP. The electronic star has had a huge 2021, during which he won a GRAMMY for his album Unconsciouslyworking with one of the biggest rappers on the planet.

The album contains songs called “Currents”, “Overdrive” and “Tie That Binds”, the latter showing Drake singing about a lover, enchanted by the way she looks at him. On the track, he raps, “Kill me slow with those piercing eyes/Don’t break my fall.” Later, he adds, “Baby, I’ll take you to my family, change your name.” The song’s club feel pervades throughout the album, which finds Drake delving deeper into dance music than ever before.

Fans began to realize the album would be inspired by club music when famed DJ and producer Carnage, who worked on six songs on the album, described it as “the greatest dance album of them all. the times” in the album’s announcement message. The inclusion of other electronic music producers from around the world like Ry X, &Me and Rampa proves that dance music is front and center here.

Honestly it doesn’t matter is the sequel to Drake’s 2021 smash release Certified Loverreleased on September 3.
