Ridgefield Arts Council Celebrates Music Day

Ridgefield, CT – Make Music Ridgefield will return for its 4th consecutive year with a wonderful and eclectic mix of free in-person music events on Tuesday, June 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with an ever-expanding schedule of events and shows.

Make Music Ridgefield is part of Make Music Day, a worldwide celebration of music that takes place every summer solstice and brings together people of all ages and skill levels for musical experiences. From classical to folk, bluegrass to country, jazz to soul, live music of all kinds echoes through the streets, sidewalks, parks and storefronts of Ridgefield.

“The Ridgefield Arts Council works throughout the year to bring out the richness and diversity of cultural offerings in Ridgefield and throughout Ridgefield. Make Music Day is a powerful and culminating celebration of the city’s rich calendar of arts, culture and community building. We are thrilled to activate so many of Ridgefield with programs and opportunities to enjoy and engage with art, music and its creators,” said Ridgefield Arts Council Chair Colleen Cash.
